Law firm's location a classic gender bender

Prior to 1979, the only women allowed into the Empire Club on the eighth floor of the Lincoln Building were the two oil paintings of curvaceous nudes. The civic leaders and business executives who frequented the all-male club affectionately referred to them as "the girls."
